Ben Carson officially announced that he is seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2016. He made the announcement in Detroit yesterday.
The liberal news outlets have predictably gone after the candidate aggressively. Liberals really do not like it when people of minority groups like blacks, women and hispanics are conservative. Carly Fiorina announced that she is running for president today as well and the liberal media has not been kind to her at all. Of course, the worst case was the false sexual harassment allegations against Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The most obvious example is all the negative pieces published about Sarah Palin. Another example is the constant attacks on Herman Cain in 2012.
Time published a piece today titled “The GOP’s Accidental Candidate for President”. The underlying theme being that Ben Carson’s entire campaign is an accident that does not reflect at all what the Republican party is about. The Washington Post decided to use the title “Ben Carson’s over-the-top ego” for their attack piece. Nobody likes someone that has a huge ego and they are attempting to make the connection in their article.
